The Client
We signed-up for a free trial and downloaded the client for Windows. Signing up was extremely easy, all we were required to do is insert a username/password. Then, we received an activation e-mail and voila, we were good to go. Installing the client was equally easy and did not occupy much space (it is only 6MB in size).
ShadeYou VPN sports a basic, simple and user-friendly interface. However, we were not impressed with the VPN’s performance. Our connection was slowed down significantly that we had to stop the service to get our browsers running again.
