Even though it might lack personality traits like Apple‘s popular and favorite voice assistant Siri which has succeeded overwhelmingly since its birth, Google Now is one of the numerous aspiring evolutions of the company’s search software. Since every device now has its own voice-controlled assistant that’s so skillfully engineered to answer your questions, Google Now is designed to predict what you’ll want or need to know even before you know that you need or want it, then serve it up in comfortable format. In Android 5.0, aka Lollipop, you can set the voice input to be always ready to listen to and execute your commands and questions, even when the screen is off.
So what can Google Now do for you?
The list is never-ending! It can notify you about upcoming appointments or alert you when it’s time to leave to get to that appointment on time. It can also give you a preview of your route, remind you friends’ birthdays, show you stock quotes or even give you weather information. It can also show you some news on topics you have recently browsed or keeps you updated with sports scores, and so on and so forth!
In this article we will show you how exactly you can set Google Now to be always on in easy, simple steps with pictures:
1- From your “Homepage”, go to “Settings”
2- Tap “Language & Input”
